Announcements.

If you are visiting us for the first time today we hope that you feel welcome. We would appreciate it if you could fill out the “Welcome” card in the pew backs and drop them in the offering plate so we can get to know you.

Ronald and Mim Friesen would like to thank everyone for the financial and prayerful support they received during their recent trip to Mongolia.

Shekinah (women's a cappella) welcomes you to their Christmas concert: "Spirit Among Us," to be held tomorrow, December 8, 7:00 p.m., at Park View Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg.  A freewill offering will be taken, and the group's new Christmas CD will be available for purchase.  For more information, visit www.shekinahmusic.net.

All those interested in Christmas Caroling can meet at the church next Sunday, December 14th at 4:00 pm. We will plan a light meal together following our time of caroling.

Prayer Concerns

  • Pray for our friends and family members dealing with cancer and its treatments.
  • Praise God that BJ Rohr will not need Chemotherapy!
  • Remember those who have recently lost loved ones as the holidays can be especially difficult.
  • Please pray for the employees of Invista that have recently been laidoff and others struggling with the slowing ecconomy in our community and worldwide.

Isaiah 40:1-2, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins.”
