Church Council will meet this week. Devotions: Garlan

The Women’s Care group will meet this Wednesday at 7:00pm.

Pleasant View Home will hold their annual banquet Oct. 22, beginning at 6:00 pm. Contact Maynard Weaver (337-5495) if you plan to attend.

There will be a Harvest Brunswick Stew event at the Buckhorn Inn Sunday, Oct. 23, beginning at 1:30. Come to peel and cut vegetables for the stew (please bring your own knives and cutting boards). If you have veggies to contribute, please see Glenn. Bring lawn chairs, outdoor games and jars to take stew home. The meal will begin around 4:30.

Highland Retreat’s Annual Fall Banquet will be held Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Eastern Mennonite High School. All who are interested in the ministry of Highland Retreat are welcome. To make your reservation call 540-852-3226,

Chuck Wagon Gang will hold a concert at Park View Mennonite Church
Sunday October 23, 2011 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $16 if purchased at Red Front, Park Gables or Ruth’s Books and $18 if bought at the concert.
