The annual Ice Cream Social at Gypsy Hill Park will be held this Tuesday beginning at 6:30 pm. We will meet at the picnic tables across from the bandstand. Please bring lawn chairs, sandwiches to share, and a salad or dessert. If you have an ice cream maker, please bring your favorite variety. Music begins at 7:00.

There will be a prayer meeting at Staunton Mennonite this Wednesday beginning at 7:30.

You are welcome to join the times of worship at Virginia Mennonite Assembly! Gather at the Eastern Mennonite School auditorium at 6:45 pm on Thursday and Friday evenings, July 25 & 26. Thursday’s theme is “Imagine God’s Power at Work in Us” with speaker Loren Horst. Friday’s theme is “Participating in the Vision of God” with Nelson Okanya (President of Eastern Mennonite Missions). There will be a missions/commissioning service on Friday. Both nights will include music by the Walking Roots Band. Nursery and pre-school childcare will be provided. Stay late on Friday for a special Taste of Missions, and the opportunity to meet authors of MennoMedia’s Fifty Shades of Grace.

Please Prayer For:

  • Kevin and Sonya as they celebrate their 10-year anniversary this weekend!

  • Those who have been affected by recent natural disasters.

  • Our friends and family members dealing with loss and grief.

  • Bill Charles, BJ Rohr and Merton Greenleaf, our friends and family dealing with cancer and its treatment.

  • Those traveling this summer.

Hebrews 13:3, “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”
