Announcements

Today we welcome Dennis and Edith Kuhns to our worship service. Dennis recently completed his term as pastor of Lynside Mennonite.

This Saturday is the annual “Walk to Remember” at Gypsy Hill Park. All proceeds from the event will go toward ongoing Alzheimer’s research. See the bulletin board for more information.

Staunton Mennonite Women will be going to the JMU Arboretum on Sunday, September 8th. Those wishing to carpool can meet at the church at 2:00. Following our time at the arboretum we will plan to go to Klines for ice cream. Please let Sonya know if you will be coming and whether or not you will be meeting at the church to carpool.

Mennonite Central Committee School Kits are due by September 29th.

Help is needed for the annual Apple Butter Boiling at Friendship Park on September 7th and 14th at any time throughout the day. Come and enjoy the fellowship and help support a great cause. The Apple Butter will be sold to benefit Mennonite Central Committee.

There are pie tins available for donating food items for the Relief Sale in the Fellowship Hall.
