Lesson Title

“Son of David” led by Glenn Zendt

10:30 WORSHIP Service

Opening Prayer

Merciful God, temptation not only stalks in the out-of-the-way,
shadowy places, but can be found even in Eden. It is all around
us. We want to resist—we long to live righteous lives. But
though our spirits are willing, sometimes our flesh fails. Keep
temptation from us. And when it draws near, deliver us from
the evil that entices us. Because you can—and do—forgive us,
we worship you. We pray this in the name of our Lord, who
resisted temptation. Amen.
