No one truly knows Christ unless they follow Him daily in life" - Hans Denck

The Lord is good to all

Gathering

Leader: Listen! If you are thirsty, come to these waters.
People: Where is the water that will quench our thirst?
Leader: Listen! If you are hungry, come to this feast.
People: How much will it cost us to eat and be satisfied?
Leader: No need to travel far. Leave your money behind.
Open your mouth, open your hands, open your soul,
and you will be filled.
All: We are here, ready for all that the Spirit has to offer.

Confessing/Reconciling

All: We confess that we are so caught up in the world
of buying and selling
that we can barely imagine another way.
We hoard our loaves and fishes
because we believe we have earned them
and they are rightfully ours.
We resist having our lives broken open
to be shared with others.
Leader: Christ overcomes our fears
and welcomes us into the abundance of the Spirit.
Let us live in the goodness of God.

Offering

God whose giving knows no ending, we offer you our money
not because we need to earn your grace, but because your grace
compels us to be gracious. Take all that we have, bless it, divide
and multiply it, and use it for your reign of mercy and justice.
Amen.
