Building up the body of Christ

Gathering

God who hears and responds, we gather this morning as your
people. We are your people—even when we complain about
not having enough, even when we fail to see the manna you
provide for us. Meet us in this time and place with the food we
need to be your people, that we may offer you our praise and
thanksgiving. Amen.

Praying

Leader: The Lord has heard our prayers and praises.
People: We have been given bread for the journey.
Leader: Go in the company of Jesus, the bread of life,
People: who quenches our thirst and satisfies our hunger.
Leader: Go in the fellowship of the Spirit,
People: who is building us into the body of Christ.
All: We will go in the joy and peace of the One who knits us
together.
