Call to Worship

Leader: Praise the Lord, sing praise all the heights!
People: Praise God, sun and moon.
Sing praise, all you shining stars!
Leader: Praise God, all the earth.
Sing praise, all fruit trees and hills!
People: Praise God, all you animals.
Sing praise, creeping things and flying birds!
All: Young men and women alike,
old and young together,
let all that has life and breath praise God!

Praying

Today, O God, the soles of your feet have touched the earth.
Today, the back street, the forgotten place, have been lit up
with significance.
Today, the households of earth welcome the King of heaven.
For you have come among us, you are one of us.
So may our songs rise to surround your throne as our knees
bend to salute your cradle. Amen.

Sending

As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, let us put on clothes of
compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. And may
Christ’s peace rule in our hearts so that whatever we do, in word
or deed, we will do in Christ’s name.
