Alive in Christ

Call to Worship

Leader: Christ is risen!
All: He is risen indeed! Alleluia!

Opening Prayer

On this Easter morning of now done darkness
we lift our hearts with praise,
we open our lives with joy!
We thank you for our Savior, the Light of the world
who has brought death to death, and life to life.
We come into your presence with singing,
our hearts echoing the chorus of the ages,
“Hosanna! Alleluia forever and ever!
Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord!”
—Carol Penner, used with permission

Sending

As the stories of our lives continue, may we ever know our place in
the great story of God’s redeeming and healing love, and may that assurance
lead us to be welcoming, generous, and hopeful as we proclaim
God’s living love to others.

Canada Formation, the Denominational Ministry of Mennonite Church USA, and
