There will be a carry-in fellowship meal after church next Sunday, September 25th. Please bring a dish or two to share.

Tending the Church's Song: An evening of listening and singing - As a committee gathers to begin work on the next Mennonite song collection, all are invited to come and reflect on the gift of congregational music. Come for a time of worship and sharing of hopes and dreams for a new Anabaptist song collection Wednesday, September 21, 7 p.m., at Park View Mennonite Church. Hosted by the Mennonite Song Collection Project, Bradley Kauffman, Director.

There are pie pans available in the Fellowship Hall for those who would like to donate baked items for the Relief Sale. There are also flyers and posters available to distribute and post throughout the community.

Come run or walk at the 5K Race for Relief at the Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale on October 1 at 8:30am. Proceeds go towards MCC. Sign up online at runwalkjog.com/relief.

The Mennonite Women of SMC are planning an event on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. at The Valley Pike Farm Market (Rt. 11 just north of the Weyer's Cave I81 exit). Come and enjoy fellowship, dessert, coffee/tea and share your summer adventures. See Marlene for more info.

Prayer

O God, we come before you in prayer. We ask for your presence
and peace, guiding as we worship and fellowship together.
We ask for your mercy and grace.

We pray for our community, our nation, and the world.

We give thanks for your many provisions.
(silent prayers of thanksgiving)
God, we desire to be faithful in our lives and in our love for you. In

Sending

There is one mediator between God and humanity, and that is
Christ Jesus. Go with love, knowing that there is a way for you to
communicate with God. Go in grace, desiring to live a life filled
